Eldercaring Coordination
The Eldercaring Coordination Mediation Program provides families a private forum in which they can resolve their disagreements in how to care for the elder person they all love. The process respects the needs, safety and autonomy of their older adult loved one while meeting the unique needs of families in high conflict.
With the assistance of a mediator who is highly trained in working with families in high conflict, the family members begin to hear one anothers’ concerns. Equally as important is the fact that the older adult is also heard. Through this dialog, families are able to develop a plan that is in the best interest of the older adult. At the same time, a positive relationship among the family members is preserved.
